The project at a glance
Medina Wifi rents portable wifi routers to travellers across Morocco, with courier delivery and pickup at hotels and residences. Off-the-shelf booking plugins could not handle that model, so we designed the booking experience and built it as a custom WordPress plugin from scratch.
What we set out to achieve
Let a traveller book a router, set delivery and return logistics and pay by card in one uninterrupted flow, without the team handling bookings over email or WhatsApp.
Where the previous setup fell short
The rental has moving parts that generic form plugins ignore: a minimum rental period, per-day pricing in two currencies, separate pickup and return cities with courier time slots, and international phone numbers from every source market.
How we approached the build
We built a three-step plugin flow (Dates, Info, Payment) with validation at every step, a live order summary that recalculates duration and total as the dates change, and a checkout that enforces the terms and deposit before payment is allowed.

Custom WordPress plugin
Purpose-built plugin rather than a form builder, so the rental logic lives in the site itself.
Three-step booking flow
Dates, customer info and payment split into clear steps with inline validation and progress state.
Delivery and return logistics
Separate pickup and return cities, hotel or residence addresses, courier time slots and a same-address shortcut.
Live pricing engine
Duration, daily rate and total recalculated on the fly, shown in EUR with the MAD equivalent.
International phone input
Country-code selector covering Morocco, Europe, the Gulf and beyond for the brand's traveller audience.
Card payment and terms
Integrated card checkout gated behind rental and payment terms plus deposit confirmation.
Medina Wifi now takes bookings and payments directly on its own site, with a form that fits the rental model instead of forcing the business to work around a plugin.
